Tee's Plentiful Salads and Catering C.E.O  Tamara Mathis, a former Culinary Arts Instructor at the Flint GASC Technology Center dreamed of having her own food business . During this time Tamara started a catering service. Once the Flint community school district begin to change, her idea of bringing something positive to the Flint community for the kids started to change. She bounced around the school district and several other jobs including Hurley Medical Center as their Senior Cook and Caterer. She then noticed the growth in her catering and the demand for her food and services. This was then the time she began to think of something she always had aspired to do, began her own salad business. Flint programs like the Flint Soup ran by entrepreneurs  Adrian and James helped to build her confidence. She won a pitch contest that the Flint Soup program provides several times yearly.  Her pitch focused on bringing forth a healthier choice in fast food. You can grab burgers,fries, pizza, chicken, fish and many other items, but where can you get a great salad? So, the idea for Tee's Plentiful Salads was established and began sales in Flint Farmers Market June of 2018. Since the first day of business things has continually grown. So continue the support as Tee's continues to provide.
